University Police: Automated External Defibrillators (AED)

There are eighteen (18) AEDS on the Armstrong Campus. Fifteen (15) are positioned in buildings across campus, two (2) are assigned to police officers on patrol, and one portable unit is in the Athletic Department. The Staff Advisory Council will be sponsoring training in CPR/AED on a monthly basis during the school year. Contact Greg Surette at 344.3292 for additional information.

Buildings with AEDs (view map)

The building-assigned AEDs are in white cabinets with an audible alarm. A member of the police department will inspect the AEDs each semester. AED use should be reported to the police department immediately and the police officers will inspect the unit and prepare it for use and replace the unit in the appropriate cabinet.
