What did you love most about Armstrong and why?
Armstrong offered the perfect balance: just the right size but with plenty of options.
How did Armstrong help you succeed in your field?
Since earning my degree, I have pursued a successful career creating documentaries about local history working with Savannah area museums. The knowledge and connections I gained at Armstrong made this possible.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Christopher Hendricks in the department of history. I love all of his classes, but the architectural history class allowed me to write a best-selling book and create several profitable films about the buildings and squares of downtown Savannah.
Why did you decide to attend Armstrong?
Armstrong's convenient location and flexible class schedules made it possible for me to earn a master's degree while working full-time as a local television news anchor.
What is your best advice to current Armstrong students?
Never be afraid to try out a class that seems like it might be too hard. You never know what opportunities it might open up!
Why are you proud to be an Armstrong alum?
Armstrong is one of the best things Savannah offers -- and my experiences there changed my life!
