What did you love most about Armstrong and why?
The conducive environment for learning.

How did Armstrong help you succeed in your field?
Armstrong challenged me and prepared me with a solid foundation of knowledge.

Who was your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Jose de Arimateia da Cruz.

Why did you decide to attend Armstrong?
I attended Armstrong because I knew I would get a quality education that would enable me to be competitive in the marketplace.

What is your favorite memory of your time at Armstrong?
The excitement that I had when I knew I was going to attend a political science class with Dr. Jose da Cruz.
Media and Politics in Latin America was my favorite. He challenged each student to think beyond the borders of the U.S., see things through the lens of others and understand how politics affects the decisions and the society it serves.

Did you do any extracurricular activities and/or internships that were particularly memorable?
I volunteered with several non-profit organizations. The most notable was the Georgia State Conference NAACP, where I served as the state first vice president and was responsible for assisting the state president.
I also served as the state executive leadership lead trainer for the Civil Rights Training Institute.
I graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in social science.

What is your best advice to current Armstrong students?
Seek excellence in learning by challenging yourselves to do more than average.

Why are you proud to be an Armstrong alum?
I am most proud to be an alum because of the excellent education I acquired and the great professors and fellow classmates that made my learning experience memorable.
