What did you love most about Armstrong and why?
The staff. Every professor I had was extremely helpful in regards to helping me excel in their courses and achieve my goals. Without their help and guidance, I don't know where I would be.
How did Armstrong help you succeed in your field?
The cyber security degree was so unique that it caught the eye of my employer. For one, they had never heard of it, and once I described what it entailed, they were very impressed!
Also, because of Armstrong, I was able to land an internship at their Police Department's Cyber Forensics Department. The knowledge I gained while I was there has carried me pretty far in my career already.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
All of my professors were amazing! I would have to say that my favorite would be Prof. Katz. Pretty much everything I have learned in his courses I apply to my job daily.
Why did you decide to attend Armstrong?
The fact that it was not far from where I lived and that it was the only school in the area to have a Cyber Security program.
What is your favorite memory of your time at Armstrong?
Working in the math tutoring center. Hanging out with fellow tutors and helping others in math was a blast.
Did you do any extracurricular activities and/or internships that were particularly memorable?
I had an internship at the Armstrong State University Police Department Cyber Forensics Department in the Summer of 2014. I learned so much during my time there and currently use the knowledge I gained there in my current job.
What is your best advice to current Armstrong students?
Seek help! There are areas all over campus that offer free tutoring. Use it! It will only help you better succeed.
Why are you proud to be an Armstrong alum?
This school offers such a wide variety of programs and courses to help better get you prepared for the career of your dreams. Because of that, I am able to succeed in my career and achieve all of my dreams.
