“Cannabis and Cannabinoids: Review of Existing and Potential Therapeutic Applications in Oncology.”
Armstrong State University will host a free lecture by Radiation Therapy Program Coordinator Pam Cartright. She will discuss the medical use of marijuana, with an emphasis on indications relevant to oncology, as well as the adverse effects of marijuana use. Cartright holds a MEd in Health Education and a B.S. in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. This event is free and open to the public.
