Two early childhood education students presented in Myrtle Beach, SC at the annual conference of the Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers.

On Friday November 4th, undergraduate student, Mrs. Emilie Welch presented a case study about one struggling student’s literacy needs. She outlined pre and post assessment data as a way to measure student growth during a student poster session.

On Saturday November 5th, graduate student, Mrs. Melissa Erickson presented a paper on incorporating gamification theory into literacy instruction.
