Armstrong to Host Robert I. Strozier Faculty Lecture by Dr. Allison Scardino Belzer on Nov. 10

WHAT:

“Women in Uniform One Hundred Years Later: Rethinking World War One in Italy.” Armstrong State University will host a free lecture by Allison Scardino Belzer, Ph.D., an associate professor of history. Chronicling the monumental transition of Italian women from hidden members of society to public representatives of Italian patriotism, Belzer will identify how women in uniform changed the country’s culture. Belzer holds a Ph.D. in History from Emory University. This event is free and open to the public.
