Celebrate Armstrong

Celebrate Armstrong Festival

Thursday, October 20 • Noon - 5 pm • Burnett Boulevard Lawn

Kick off the Celebrate Armstrong weekend with the biggest celebration of year at the Celebrate Armstrong festival! Explore more than 50 departmental and student organization booths, ride the mechanical bull, climb the Rockwall, participate in games and contests, and enjoy a lineup of live entertainment. This event is free and open to the public.

Celebrate Armstrong Alumni Gala

Friday, October 21 • cocktails at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. • Armstrong Center Ballroom

Celebrate this year’s top alumni as we present the Notable, Outstanding and Distinguished Alumni Awards at a black-tie optional gala evening featuring a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and ceremony at 7 p.m.  Single tickets are $75 and table of eight is available at a group rate of $500. Proceeds will go to benefit scholarship funds to build the next generation of Armstrong Alumni. Register for tickets here!

Celebrate Armstrong Family Day

Saturday, October 22 • 12:00 p.m.-3:00pm • Burnett Boulevard Lawn

Join us on Saturday, October 22nd for food, family, and fun!  A $25 registration fee will cover one guest attendee (and one Armstrong student) for a meal at our Picnic on the Lawn, a guest family day t-shirt, opportunities for photos with our very own Pirate Ship, live music, and tickets to an Armstrong Men's Basketball game at 3:00pm.  An optional Savannah Trolley tour will also be offered (limited space available, pre-registration required).

Lil' Siblings Weekend | Hosted by Housing & Residence Life

Lil' Sibs Overnight will take place on Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23. This is the one time during the semester when siblings under age 17 are able to come and stay on campus while visiting and learning more about Armstrong.  REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Treasure Walk & 5K Run for Women's Athletics | October 22, 2016 at 9:30am

Participate in a walk & 5K that proceeds fund a scholarship to benefit an Armstrong State female student-athlete, who is looking to complete her bachelors degree. In the first four years of the Treasure Walk, more than $50,000 was raised for the scholarship fund. To learn more, visit

(February 7, 2017) – Armstrong State University’s French Club will host the 9th Annual Francophone Film Festival Feb. 16-18 at the Ogeechee Theatre in the Student Union, located at 11935 Abercorn St. The festival will screen five French-language movies with subtitles covering a wide range of themes and issues. All screenings are free and open to the public.
