Celebrate Armstrong Festival

Thursday, October 19 • Noon - 5 pm • Residential Plaza

Take part in the biggest celebration of year at the Celebrate Armstrong festival! Explore more than 50 departmental and student organization booths, ride the mechanical bull, climb the Rockwall, participate in games and contests, enjoy live music and so much more. This event is free and open to the public.

Academic departments and student organizations are invited to have a decorated booth at the Celebrate Armstrong Festival with activities, games and items available for purchase. To reserve a booth space, please complete the sign-up form by the Thursday, October 12 deadline. 

Fourth Annual Alumni Awards Gala

Friday, October 20 • cocktails at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. • Armstrong Center Ballroom

Join us in honoring this year’s top alumni at a black-tie optional gala evening featuring a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and a ceremony at 7 p.m. During the ceremony, we will present the Eminent, Distinguished, Outstanding and Notable Alumni Awards. Single tickets are $75 and tables of eight are available at a group rate of $500. Proceeds will go to the scholarship funds that are designed to build the next generation of Armstrong Alumni.   • Thursday, October 19 from 8 - 11 a.m. in the Student Union Savannah Ballroom 

T-shirts are FREE for students. Faculty and staff may purchase a t-shirt for $5, but only cash payments will be accepted. Students, faculty and staff must show their Pirate Card at time of purchase or pick-up.

(February 7, 2017) – Armstrong State University’s French Club will host the 9th Annual Francophone Film Festival Feb. 16-18 at the Ogeechee Theatre in the Student Union, located at 11935 Abercorn St. The festival will screen five French-language movies with subtitles covering a wide range of themes and issues. All screenings are free and open to the public.
