Military & Veterans: Student Veterans of America

Our Purpose

The purpose of this organization is to provide a college-based military veterans group dedicated to supporting the community, servicemembers, fellow veterans, military spouses and dependents, and students.

Membership

Any student who has honorably served as a member of the US Armed Forces,

Students who are Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard members,

Students currently enrolled in ROTC,

Students who are family members of current or prior service members,

Students currently enrolled at Armstrong.

No qualified student will be denied membership based on race, creed or national origin.

(June 14, 2017) – U.S. Veterans Magazine has named Armstrong State University as one of the 2017 Best of the Best Top Veteran-Friendly Schools. The annual review is an evaluation of the nation’s employers, initiatives, government agencies and educational institutions. Lists were compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses to determine which universities provide learning environments conducive to student veteran success.
