Generations of Commitment
Elizabeth Solana Weeks graduated from Armstrong Junior College in 1940, but that only marked the beginning of her contributions to the Armstrong academic community. After serving two terms on the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, she still continued to generously offer her time and resources whenever possible. Ultimately, her most long-lasting contribution may be the three children and three additional grandchildren that she guided to a degree from Armstrong years after she did the same. The Elizabeth Solana Weeks Memorial Scholarship was established in remembrance of a proud alumna who established a commitment to Armstrong that has stretched across three generations.
