Give: Campus Campaign

When We All Give, We All Win!

Dear Colleagues:

Welcome to the 2016-2017 academic year!

Fall Convocation is Wednesday, Aug. 10 — a time for faculty and staff to come together to start a new year. It is also First Day, the launch of the Campus Campaign and an Armstrong tradition for over a decade. We write to you today as co-chairs of the 2016 Campus Campaign to thank you for your dedication and to invite you to join us in support of Armstrong.

Faculty and staff are the treasures of Armstrong. You are mentors and role models to our students. You are leaders on campus and in our community. Your financial contribution is an impressive statement to current students and to alumni who still look up to you, regardless of the years that distance them from campus. Your participation in the Campus Campaign builds confidence in Armstrong to corporations and foundations from which the university is seeking funding. Last year, over 60% of Armstrong’s faculty and staff participated. This year, we can surpass that mark with your help.

The Campus Campaign allows you to support the area of your choice. Last year, many faculty and staff chose to give to the Armstrong Commitment Fund, student scholarships, and specific departments across campus. You can utilize the Foundation Fund List to the right to explore all of the gift designation opportunities.

Please join us in making a charitable gift to Armstrong. One of the easiest ways to make a gift is through the use of payroll deduction. You may also make an outright gift or divide your gift into payments.

Please download your pledge form and return it on First Day, Wednesday, Aug. 10, or utilize the giving packet placed in your campus mailbox in early August. The Advancement staff will have designated tables on the second floor of the Student Union to assist you before and after the 10:30 a.m. Fall Convocation.

Remember, the success of the Campus Campaign is based on the percentage of campus participation. We will total the number of pledges received by September 20 to see which unit of Armstrong takes home the Campaign Trophy for 2016! Go ahead and mark your calendar to celebrate the campaign’s success on Wednesday, September 21st from 3pm-4pm in Student Union Ballroom with a celebratory party.

We thank you in advance for your generosity and support because when we all give, we all win.
