Financial Aid: Peer Financial Counseling

What is Peer Financial Counseling(PFC)?

Peer Financial Counseling is a program designed to bring financial literacy to students. Many students start out financially illiterate. This can include not knowing how to: properly use credit cards, keep their identity safe, or budget. Living comfortably both during and after graduation is possible, with the right tools.

Our mission is to provide these financial management principles to students to help them make wiser decisions when it comes to different life challenges and opportunities.

Our vision is to affect more students every year and to help our peers understand the implications of their actions today on their future tomorrow.

CashCourse is a real-life guide to taking charge of your money. By creating an account, you can obtain access to coursework, quizzes, and worksheets designed to help you learn more about budgeting, student loans, credit management and more!

This is a fantastic FREE resource available to students. By combining the information through CashCourse’s website and Peer Financial Counseling workshops, students have the ability to succeed financially.
