Education: Dean’s Welcome

If you are passionate about inspiring others, you have come to the right place. Welcome to Armstrong State University and the College of Education.  We are a part of the University of Georgia System and we offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of the aspiring educator and the professional educator alike.

We espouse the university’s mission “to foster abilities and values essential to the development of students into knowledgeable, ethical, responsible, and creative citizens.” To that end, we are faculty and staff who are committed to academic excellence - the teaching and learning of all of our education candidates so that our candidates become educators who are committed to the teaching and learning of all students. That is, we want to prepare you to be the best educator you can be – so that you can make a difference.

I invite you to visit these pages often to see what we are about. I also invite you to visit us. Any of the faculty, staff or I would be happy to meet with you and provide you with any additional information.
