Examinations Offered

Proctor Agreement Form 

This form is designed for Armstrong student's to seek approval to take an examination at a remote location.  Such exams may include: MAPP Exam (Graduation Exam),  Exams for courses offered through On-Line Learning.

ACT Residual Exam

The ACT Residual Exam is administered each academic term. The test is for students seeking admission to Armstrong State University only.  Scores are not transferable to other universities.

Credit-by-Examination CLEP 

CLEP is a program which allows students to take tests in any given subject with the intention of testing out of certain classes through examination.

Distance Learning Courses

Allows students to complete some of their credit requirements by studying independently and being assessed remotely. Study opportunities are free of time and place constraints that are typical of most other forms of instruction.


Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators

Georgia Government Exam 

Armstrong State University requires the Georgia Government Exam for students who seek to satisfy the degree requirement for U.S. and Georgia government.

TEAS V for Allied Health Professionals (TEAS-AH)   *Armstrong does not give the Nursing TEAS Exam.

The TEAS for Allied Health Professionals (TEAS-AH) provides an objective measure of critical reading ability and basic mathematics skills necessary to succeed in the sonography and radiologic sciences programs.  

Major Field Test (MFT)

The MFT is an objective test designed to assess the mastery of concepts, principles and knowledge expected of students at the conclusion of a major in specific subject areas.

Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress (MAPP)

The MAPP is a test of academic knowledge and skills acquired through undergraduate general education courses. The test is a graduation requirement for students obtaining a degree in Associate Applied Science in Criminal Justice, a BS Communication Sciences and BS Rehab Sciences. 

You must meet this graduation requirement. Please register early!!
