Office 365 is a free subscription (resource) made available by Microsoft to accredited universities and their current students, faculty and staff. Microsoft allows us to provide each student and employee with the latest version of Microsoft Office to use on personal (non Armstrong-owned) computers or mobile devices. The software is free as long as you are an active student or employee!
Warning: Office 365 is NOT to be installed on Armstrong-owned workstations or laptops. Contact the Helpdesk for assistance with Armstrong-owned computers.
Students, faculty and staff can install Office 365 on up to 15 personal devices: five PCs/ Macs, five tablets and five smartphones. Microsoft Office online is also available to create, store, share and collaborate on documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
How to Get this Service
Visit the Microsoft website to login Office 365 or visit the Google Store or Apple store to download the application to your personal device. Access is tied to your Armstrong email and corresponding password.
Students use your @stu.armstrong.edu and your corresponding password. Staff use your @armstrong.edu email address and corresponding password.
- Go to Office 365 login page: login.microsoftonline.https://login.microsoftonline.com/ or click the Access Office 365 button.
- Enter your email account and corresponding password
- Click sign-in
- Click the install button displayed in the upper right-hand corner
Please note: Continued access to Office 365 once your affiliation with Armstrong ends will require a subscription to Office 365 through Microsoft.
