Phi Kappa Phi - Benefits of Membership

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi offers numerous benefits that can assist members throughout their academic and professional lives. Our global focus on resources allows Phi Kappa Phi members to connect and network with one another from every corner of the world.

From academic recognition, career assistance, awards and scholarships, partner discounts and services, special publications, networking, training, and leadership opportunities, Phi Kappa Phi provides members with a number of benefits and awards at the national level.

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's ongoing commitment to excellence is reflected in its scholarships and awards programs. $1 million is awarded each biennium to outstanding students, Phi Kappa Phi members, and chapters through the Society's various awards competitions: the Fellowship , Phi Kappa Phi Scholar & Artist, Study Abroad Grants, Literacy Grants, and Love of Learning.

Phi Kappa Phi sets high standards for its award recipients. Selection committees comprised of representatives from each of the Society's five regions carefully review all applications. Applicants are evaluated based on numerous factors, including academic recognition and awards, campus and community involvement, leadership experiences, and quality and scope of proposed program.

Membership in Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and rewards academic success. New members are initiated at a ceremony and reception held on campus. They receive a personalized membership certificate and card and are presented with the official Phi Kappa Phi pin at the initiation ceremony.
