2017 St. Patrick's Day Parade

Join us for the 2017 St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Savannah on Friday, March 17th and show your pirate pride! Register by March 10th to ride on Armstrong's float!

Senior Class Photo

Friday, March 31, 2017 | 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. | Historic Armstrong House
We will be taking a senior class photo on the steps of our first school building, the historic Armstrong House. A free lunch will be provided and a scavenger hunt will take place throughout Monterey Square in downtown Savannah. A shuttle will be provided, but you may drive yourselves. Please RSVP!

Spring Career Fair

Thursday, April 6, 2017 | 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. | Student Union Ballroom
The Spring 2017 Career Fair is open to all students and alumni seeking an internship or full-time position. All students, regardless of classification, are encouraged to attend to learn more about careers in business, government, education, healthcare, non-profits, etc. Participants should dress professionally and arrive early with resumes in hand.

Armstrong Physical Therapy Reunion

Saturday, April 8, 2017 
Celebrating 20 years since our first graduating class, this event promises networking, fun, and an update on today's DPT program for all DPT alumni across the last two decades. Programming includes tours of campus, a poster session by current students, cocktail reception and dinner. You may also choose to add on a golf outing at Southbridge or a walking tour of Savannah. Emotions ran high when Armstrong alumni gathered in Brunswick on March 14 to hear the latest news about the consolidation between Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University. After a lengthy question-and-answer period, Alumni Board Member John Sewell ’60 stood up. “I’m just like you, I don’t understand why the state is doing this. I’m upset and I’m disappointed,” Sewell told the assembled group, “but I have come to realize that this isn’t about me; it’s about the students.”

(May 25, 2016) – Savannah residents Michelle and Barry Vine presented a gift of $79,000 to Armstrong State University in support of the university’s state-of-the-art tennis complex, currently under construction on campus. By fall, the tennis complex will be home to Armstrong’s women’s tennis team, NCAA Division II National Champions who clinched their tenth national title over the weekend, and the three-time National Champion men’s tennis team.
