Alumni Association Open House/Annual Meeting

Friday, June 2, 2017 | 5:30 p.m. | Alumni Center, Burnett Hall
Since you're officially alumni, join us for our Alumni Center Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We'll have food, live music, and opportunities to connect with fellow alumni. Afterwards, join us for our Alumni Association Annual Meeting, where we will recognize our top volunteers of the year and welcome you into the Alumni Association. Active Alumni will be able to vote for Alumni Association Board members and officers.

Financial Aid Exit Counseling

Seniors need to be financially responsible to help them with the next steps of their lives. So it's important to not forget your student loan exit counseling. Exit Loan Counseling will assist you in understanding your repayent right and responsibilities, options for repayment, and debt management skills.

To complete Exit Loan Counseling visit www.nslds.ed.gov. As a previous student loan recipient, you are required by the Federal Department of Education to complete Exit Loan Counseling. You will need your Federal PIN to complete Exit Counseling. If you do not remember your Federal PIN, please visit www.pin.ed.gov to request a duplicate.

Deadline for Online Cap and Gown Orders

Tuesday, February 28, 2017
Tuesday, February 28th is the deadline for online cap and gown orders through Herff Jones. There is no cost for this order, and your cap, gown, and hood (for Masters and Doctorate students) will be available at the graduation fair. If you are unable to place an order by February 28th, students may do so by calling the Bookstore directly at 912.344.2603.

MAPP Exams

All undergraduate candidates (those earning Associate or Bachelor degrees) should schedule their MAPP exam through Testing Services. You may be exempt from taking the MAPP exam if you are a 1.) Post Baccalaureate student (earned a previous Bachelors Degree) or 2.) student who already took the MAPP exam at Armstrong to earn an Associates Degree or 3.) Master or Doctorate candidate. Students should schedule departmental exit exams through their respective department.

(May 25, 2016) – Savannah residents Michelle and Barry Vine presented a gift of $79,000 to Armstrong State University in support of the university’s state-of-the-art tennis complex, currently under construction on campus. By fall, the tennis complex will be home to Armstrong’s women’s tennis team, NCAA Division II National Champions who clinched their tenth national title over the weekend, and the three-time National Champion men’s tennis team.
