The alumni office works closely with the Alumni Association to enhance the relationship between Armstrong State University and its alumni. Our joint goal is to facilitate services for alumni, to promote and support the activities and objectives of the university, to uphold the traditions of the university, and to share information about the university with alumni, current and future students, and the community.
What We Do
We offer a wide variety of programs to enhance career development for alumni, to attract new students to Armstrong, to prepare current students for the post-graduation world, to provide service opportunities for alumni to benefit the university and the community, and to enable alumni to network with each other and with faculty and staff. Programs range from fun and engaging social receptions to mind-expanding seminars to meaningful service projects. Whether you are 22 or 102, we seek to provide programs that will enhance your life.
Who We Are
Armstrong has 30,000 alumni. While more than half of them have made their homes within 100 miles of our beautiful, historic, coastal hometown of Savannah, nearly 45% of our former students live further away, from Alaska to Buenos Aires. Wherever you are, you are one of our alumni if you attended Armstrong Junior College, Armstrong State College, or Armstrong State University. Even if you did not complete a degree, all you need is a love for Armstrong in order to participate in most of our alumni programs. For maximum access, however, you should consider becoming an Active Alumni. All it takes is an annual gift of at least $35 to the Armstrong Foundation. Your contribution will enable you full access to select campus resources (like the Lane Library), active members-only events, and eligibility to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Please use the membership form to update your contact and background information and to indicate your interests. To become an Active Member, you may send a gift of $35 or more to the Armstrong Foundation (c/o Alumni Office, Armstrong State University, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419) or you can make a gift online.
