Admissions: Apply to Armstrong

Thank you for your interest in Armstrong!

Whether you're a high school senior applying for college, a working professional returning to school or a military veteran making the transition to civilian life, we're here to help. If you need assistance at any point during Armstrong's application process, please just stop in to our office or call us. We're happy to answer any questions you may have. If you're ready to start your application, there are three easy ways to apply:

Option 1: Apply Online with GACollege411 Application (Undergraduate Students Only)

Applicants for undergraduate admission can complete an application online through a service offered by gacollege411. Highly recommended for high school students applying for freshman or dual enrollment admission.

  • If you already have an account with GACOLLEGE411, Apply online now! (graduate students please use Option 2 below)
  • If you don’t have a gacollege411 account, you will need to create an account.
  • After you set-up your log-in information, please come back to this page and use the "apply online now" link to begin your application to Armstrong. 

Option 2: Apply Online with Armstrong's Application

Applicants can complete Armstrong's online application for both undergraduate or graduate admissions. Highly recommended for transfer, non-traditional, international graduate, and graduate students.

Option 3: Apply in Person

If you prefer to come to our office and fill out an application, you may do this during our normal business hours (Mon – Thu, 8:15 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Fri, 8:15 a.m. – 5 p.m.). We are located at 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419 in Victor Hall. Please note, the office can only accept exact cash, check, or money order.

Please review the admissions requirements based on your student type and send in all required credentials in order to complete your application. Once an application is complete and all required credentials are received, it will take 3-4 weeks to receive a decision. Check your Admissions Status

(May 17, 2016) – Armstrong State University recently hired Tobe R. Frierson as the director of admissions. A veteran admissions expert, Frierson brings more than 13 years of experience in college recruitment management and student services at higher education institutions. In her new role, Frierson is responsible for the strategy, execution and management of Armstrong’s admissions and recruitment process.

(April 4, 2016) – At a special Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools gala, 28 of Armstrong's College of Education alumni were honored as school-level Teachers of the Year. Savannah-Chatham County Board of Education President Jolene Byrne told attendees that this honor is given in recognition and appreciation of the teachers' service to students and families.

(February 11, 2016) - Armstrong will host a one-day Start Strong, Start Now registration event for the Spring 2016 mini-mester on Friday, February 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the lobby of Victor Hall, located on Armstrong's main campus at 11935 Abercorn St. This event helps new students apply, get admitted and sign up for classes.
