Division of Student Affairs

The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to provide student-centered opportunities and services that promote engagement and support transformative learning experiences.  These opportunities and services take place largely outside the classroom and outside of the normal curriculum.  All opportunities and services are dedicated to helping the student achieve academic, personal, and professional growth and to move forward to graduation.

Admissions and Financial Aid

We’re here to help you with the admissions process, every step of the way. Approximately 85% of our students receive financial aid. Career Services

Welcome to Career Services! Our mission is to connect students and alumni with local, regional, and national employment opportunities while advising them in attaining their career and educational goals. The office provides assistance in career planning, resume and employment correspondence, interviewing skills, job search essentials, and applying to graduate school. In addition, we also have several recruiting events each year including career and graduate school fairs as well as employer led events. Let us help you chart your course as you navigate life during and after college!

Counseling Center

Armstrong's University Counseling Center helps students develop insight to overcome personal or mental health problems while learning coping skills needed to succeed in meeting academic goals. Our staff of licensed mental health professionals provide a wide range of services including individual counseling, referrals to community providers, and educational programming for the community. The services are free to enrolled students paying the Student Health fee.

Disability Services

Armstrong's Office of Disability Services is committed to working with students with disabilities to assess their needs and to assist with academic accommodations that may be necessary and appropriate due to their disability. We are committed to assisting each student to reach his/her maximum potential through the pursuit of educational goals. The primary goal is to assure equal access to all aspects of the college experience for students with disabilities through reasonable accommodation. The Office of Disability Services assists in the coordination of appropriate services, based on the student's individual documented needs.

Housing and Residence Life

Armstrong campus housing provides so much more than a place to lay your head at night. You will have opportunities to get involved, make lifelong friendships, and live within a community that promotes personal and academic success. Armstrong Residence Life staff are dedicated to providing a pleasurable living experience that will keep you engaged within the halls as well as with the many campus resources and events located just steps from your apartment or suite.

Multicultural Affairs

We are all about YOU! The Armstrong State University Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) provides the opportunity and resources for the betterment and development of our student body. OMA supports students’ social and intellectual growth as well as civic engagement though community service and cultural competency though programming.

We love helping you stay healthy and happy! Meet our staff and learn about what we do! Who knows? Maybe you can even join our team!

Student Health Center

The student health center provides quality healthcare to students with an acute illness. We also provide routine healthcare including physicals, well woman exams, contraception counseling and prescriptions, and lab testing. We promote health education regarding personal health issues. The office is supervised by a licensed, certified, Nurse Practitioner, Tammy Medlin, FNP, under the direction of Elena Piminova, MD. The student health center is contracted through and supported by Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Student Integrity

The Office of Student Integrity assists students at Armstrong as they live and matriculate under the regulations of the Code of Student Integrity. This Code represents a strong tradition at Armstrong and ensures that students are given the chance to grow as individuals by responsible decision making and ethical choices.

Student Life

With Savannah as your playground, you have access to all of the history, culture, and beauty the Lowcountry has to offer. And inevitably, the southern hospitality of the city spills into the lives and hearts of everyone here at Armstrong. We offer a tight knit community of students with plenty of opportunities to find your place and participate in extra-curricular programs, organizations, performances, forums and athletics. The Division of Student Affairs is here to support students in every aspect of your experiences as you learn, grow and discover at Armstrong.
