Engineering Studies Program

Engineering involves solving everyday problems to improve the lives of people through the practical application of science and mathematics. Engineers are creators and developers who imagine better ways of doing things and then design and build things to bring those ideas into reality.

Engineering students have opportunities to earn an associates of science degree in engineering, participate in internships, undergraduate research projects with faculty, and transfer to top-ranked engineering programs through the Regents' Engineering Transfer Program.

The principal goal of the Armstrong Engineering Studies Program is to prepare students to complete their engineering degrees at 4-year engineering institutions like Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State University, University of Georgia, or Mercer University. Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Materials Science, Nuclear, and Polymer and Textile Engineering can be obtained through the Regents' Engineering Pathways Program (REPP) program.
