University Professor Honored as Fulbright Scholar

(September 1, 2015) – Dr. Felix Hamza-Lup, associate professor of computer science and information technology, has been selected by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Hamza-Lup will teach and conduct research at Bangkok University from August 2015 to January 2016.

Armstrong Professor Selected as Governor’s Teaching Fellow

(August 26, 2015) – Armstrong State University International Relations and Comparative Politics Professor Dr. José de Arimatéia da Cruz was recently selected as a Governor’s Teaching Fellow for the Academic Year Symposia 2015-2016.

Two Professors Secure Grant to Foster Interest in Technology and the Arts

(Aug. 22, 2015) — The American Association of University Women (AAUW), the nation’s leading organization promoting equity and education for female students, recently awarded $7,000 to Armstrong State University Art professors Rachel Green and Angela Horne for their Community Action Grant proposal, “FashionTECH: Engaging Girls in STEAM through Fashion.”
