Kappa Sigma Shaves to Save!

(November 1, 2014) — Armstrong is a little less hairy these days after Armstrong’s Kappa Sigma fraternity shaved 40 heads for the annual Shave to Save event. The project aims to raise money for the American Cancer Society and to heighten awareness about breast cancer. The Omicron Iota chapter raised a total of $2,500.

Inaugural Diversity Week Kicks Off on Nov. 3

(Oct. 29, 2014) — Armstrong State University will host its inaugural Diversity Week beginning Monday, Nov. 3. The weeklong series of events will celebrate diversity at Armstrong and highlight current issues within the local community. All events are free and open to the public.

Special Screening of “Mending the Line” Documentary, November 10

(Oct. 28, 2014) — In honor of Veterans Day, Armstrong State University and Mountainfilm on Tour-Savannah will host a special screening of the documentary Mending the Line on Monday, November 10 at 7 p.m. in the Ogeechee Theatre in the Student Union.
