"I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist. My hope was that AASU would be the best institution to prepare me for graduate school. Armstrong Atlantic surpassed my expectations."--Kaitlen
Proud Member of AASU Class of 2009
Major: Rehabilitation Science, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Her involvement in the campus community started early and has remained strong over time. During her undergraduate years, Kaitlen participated in everything from orientation to Student Government Association.
Her academic accomplishments and leadership skills go hand in hand. She graduated with an overall GPA of 3.76 and earned a spot on the Dean's List every semester she attended AASU.
How has she done all that? Her advice to other students is to "find someone you can trust and depend on. That makes the difference in your success. Have someone you can talk to, help you make decisions and guide you. You don't have to be involved in everything at Armstrong Atlantic, but take action on something you're passionate about."
As a graduate student, Kaitlen continues to follow her own advice. In addition to being the recipient of many awards, including the Sidney D. Rodenberg Memorial Scholastic Award from the Alpha Eta National Allied Health Honor Society for her undergraduate work as a rehabilitation science major, Kaitlen works as a physical therapy aide at the Rehabilitation Institute at Memorial University Medical Center.
Kaitlen is, without a doubt, someone you can trust and depend on.
