Comprehensive Program Review

In accordance with Board of Regents' policy, all academic programs at Armstrong will engage in a process of continuous improvement that includes the assessment of student learning outcomes and other measures of programmatic quality. Periodically, each program will undergo a Comprehensive Program Review (CPR) to answer the following questions:

  • Is this program effective in producing high quality graduates?
  • What evidence do we have to support that conclusion regarding effectiveness?
  • How do we plan to use the evidence from annual assessments and the CPR to improve the program?

The goal of program review is to insure that all academic programs offered at Armstrong contribute effectively and efficiently to the mission of the university and provide the best education possible for our students. Each program’s faculty will develop and disseminate a statement of program learning outcomes that students must master prior to graduation.
