Server Maintenance Schedule - Archive

IT Services reserves Sundays’ from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesdays’ from 11:00 p.m.to  2:00 a.m. for routine and periodic maintenance.  IT Services usually returns all services back to normal operations and completes maintenance within a few hours after maintenance begins. However, the entire window is always reserved in case of complications or if additional work is necessary.
 

12/2/12

IT Services announces a network outage Sunday, December 2 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  in Solms Hall.  This network outage will affect phone service, internet traffic, web access, server access, network printing, and connectivity to any service which does not reside locally on your computer in the building. 

12/1/12

IT Services announces a network outage Saturday, December 1 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  in Armstrong Center.  This network outage will affect phone service, internet traffic, web access, server access, network printing, and connectivity to any service which does not reside locally on your computer in the building. Wireless will be back up and running on the 1st Floor of the Armstrong Center by 8:30 a.m.

11/17/12 - 11/18/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Saturday, November 17, from 11:30 p.m.  to  Sunday, November  18 at 2  p.m. Banner, SHIP, Pirates' Cove Reports and iTunes U will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

10/14/12

IT Services announces a network outage Sunday, October 14 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Majority of campus will not have any network connectivity due to construction activity. The network will be back up and running after 12:00 p.m.  The following buildings will not have network activity during the maintenance period.

9/30/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for server equipment on Sunday, September 30 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Wireless connections on campus including housing will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. to 9 a.m. due to server equipment maintenance. Web services, R25, and Starrez services will be unavailable for a breif time period during 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

9/21/12 - 9/23/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Friday, September 21, from 11:30 p.m.  to  Sunday, September 23 at 6  p.m. Banner, SHIP, Pirates' Cove Reports and iTunes U will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

8/26/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for server equipment on Sunday, August 29 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Web services, R25, and Starrez services will be unavailable for a breif time period during the maintenance period.

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for network server equipment on Wednesday, August 1 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. During this time period a brief network outage will occur that will impact access to internet services from off campus and network services on campus.

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Friday, June 29, from 6:00 p.m.  to  Sunday, July 1 at 6  a.m. for Fiscal Year End Processing.

6/22/12 - 6/25/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Friday, June 22, from 6:00 p.m.  to  Monday, June 25 at 8  a.m.
Banner, SHIP and Pirates' Cove Reports will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

6/2/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Saturday, June 2, from 11:30 p.m.  to  Sunday, June 3 at 1  p.m.
Banner, SHIP and Pirates' Cove Reports will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

5/18/12

Peachnet has scheduled maintenance on equipment from 11:00 p.m. Friday May 18, 2012 and is expected to be completed by 7:00 a.m. Saturday May 19, 2012.  During this time period Armstrong web services and internet connections will be unavailable for an extended period of time. From off campus you will not be able to access web services, SHIP, Pirates Cove, student email and other Armstrong internet resources.

USG has scheduled Peoplesoft mainteance to complete a PeopleSoft Financials Update 2.40.  Peoplesoft will be unavailable beginning 11:00 p.m. Friday May 18, 2012 to 7:00 a.m. Sunday May 20, 2012.

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for SHIP and Banner.  SHIP and Banner will be unavailable Saturday, May 5, from 11:30 p.m.  to  Sunday, May 6 at 2  p.m.
Banner, SHIP and Pirates' Cove Reports will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

4/21/12

IT Services has scheduled server maintenance for voicemail services on 4/1/12 from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Voicemail services will have a brief downtime during the maintenance period.

3/25/12

IT Services has scheduled maintenance for server equipment on Sunday, March 25 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Web services, R25, and Starrez services will be unavailable for a breif time period during the maintenance period.

3/16/12

UPDATE:  IT Services scheduled server maintenance has not been completed at this time. iPirint services remain unavailable during this maintenance period.  We will update when further information becomes available.

IT Services has scheduled server maintenance on Friday, March 16, from 10:30 a.m.  to  1  p.m.    Servers that support networked printers using iPrint Services will be unavailable during the maintenance time frame.  Any print jobs that have been sent to a networked printer will be held until the servers are available and printing resumed.
