Alternative Spring Break
Armstrong provides students the opportunity for students to travel and give back during spring break through the Armstrong Alternative Spring Break Program.
Spring Break 2013 Alternative Break
March 9-15, 2013
Students will spend the week volunteering with hunger and homeless projects within the greater Biloxi, Mississippi area including low income housing, food banks, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and women's programs providing direct service to low income families.
The cost of the trip includes transportation from Savannah, a day trip to New Orleans, most meals, lodging, and time in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Space for this trip is limited. The application an $75 deposit is due at the time of application. The remaining balance of $275 is due by Friday, February 15, 2013. Application and deposit can be turned into the Office of Student Union and Activities in MCC 201.
For students who wish to attend and participate in the Savannah St. Patrick's Day activities, the trip will return the day before the parade and activities in Savannah.
