Al Harris

Al Harris has been involved campus activities programming for over three decades. Prior to his arrival at Armstrong he was Director of Student Activities at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. He holds a BS in Business Administration and an MA in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University where he also worked as Student Union Manager.

Al has held leadership positions with the Georgia College Personnel Association, the National Association of Campus Activities and was recognized as the Association of Campus Activities’ 1999 Programmer of the Year. His community credits include Entertainment Coordinator for the Night in Old Savannah Festival and Past President and founding member of the Coastal Georgia Soccer Association. Al enjoys facilitating leadership programs, working with student organizations and assisting students in planning and achieving goals and objectives.
