Davelyn Vinson Excellence in
Mathematics Award Scholarship

The Davelyn Vinson Excellence in Mathematics Award Scholarship provides support for a graduate student who is currently working on a master's degree with a concentration in secondary mathematics education at AASU. The criteria for selection are based equally on dedication to mathematics education and excellence in mathematical studies. The scholarship honors Davelyn Vinson, who has been a mathematics educator in Chatham County since 1972, and received a master's degree in mathematics education from Armstrong in 1987.
