2011 Nanotechnology Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)
The University of Massachusetts, Amherst's, 10-week summer undergraduate research program in Nanoscale Device Development gives participants a head start on a career in nanotechnology. Participants will work on real, cutting-edge research projects with faculty mentors and graduate student labmates as they build their own scientific foundations for the future. Funded through the National Science Foundation, we offer a $3400 stipend, free lodging and travel to campus, and a number of activities and events for outside the lab. The 2011 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience Program will run from 31 May to 6 August. Women and others from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
