The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has awarded $14,500 to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah to support Dr. Angie Koban's research investigating why people leave a shelter without an animal. The $14,500 will go toward paying research assistants and the purchase of supplies. We are very excited about Dr. Koban's collaboration with Savannah's Humane Society.
