The College of Science and Technology has been awarded a 5-year $1.2 M grant from the National Science Foundation to provide scholarships to rising juniors, seniors and MAT students to become science or math teachers.  Juniors and Seniors majoring in biology, chemistry, applied physics, mathematics, computer science and psychology can receive $10,000 per year to complete their studies.  Students pursuing masters or post-baccalaureate certification to become teachers and have graduated with a science or math degree are also eligible.  See for more information.  Applications available January 1, 2013.  Applications are due April 15, 2013.
