In July, Dr. Richard Wallace (Chemistry and Physics) was an invited speaker at the Rare Fruit Conference held at the Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead, FL.  Dr. Wallace presented his research work from here at Armstrong and spoke on the topic “Development and Evaluation of Bananas for Non-tropical Climates”.   Two AASU undergraduate students, Charlie Murray and Crystina Bronk, were co-authors of the presentation from their contributions through undergraduate research performed under Dr. Wallace's direction.
