Dr. Will Lynch and co-authors from chemistry including Drs. Nivens, Padgett, Padgett, MacGowan, Hizer, Smith, Roach and Werner presented a paper at the 15th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference in Washington D.C. on June 21, 2011. The paper, titled Green Chemistry Infusion Into General Chemistry Laboratory was part of a 2 day symposium on Transformative Education and Innovative Course Materials and Learning Tools. The conference, sponsored by the American Chemical Society is held in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry. The work described in the paper is part of the National Science Foundation TUES project 0942047 "Guiding General Chemistry Laboratory Toward a Green Revolution: An Inquiry Approach"
