Dr. Brent Feske (chemistry) receives Tenure and Promotion to Associate Professor of Chemistry.
The Department of Chemistry and Physics is pleased to announce that Dr. Brent Feske (chemistry) has been granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor of Chemistry. Dr. Feske is in his 8th year at Armstrong. He received his BS in chemistry from Southeastern Louisiana Universityand a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Florida in 2005. In August 2005, Dr. Feske joined the faculty as a temporary instructor of chemistry and then converted to tenure track during the 2006-2007 academic year. At Armstrong, Dr. Feske teaches mainly in the organic and biochemistry disciplines of chemistry. During his tenure at Armstrong, Dr. Feske has been the Principal Investigator on two NSF grants totaling over $500,000. Both grants were first of their kind at Armstrong coming from the National Science Foundation’s Major Research Instrumentation and Research at Undergraduate Institutions programs. Dr. Feske has authored of 8 peer reviewed publications during his tenure at Armstrong, five which include undergraduate co-authors.
