Armstrong adds a photo illuminator system to its chemical instrumentation inventory
The Armstrong Chemistry Program has added a Luzchem photoreactor system to support instruction and undergraduate research in the department. The system is a solar simulator which allows light initiated reactions to be studied under high throughput conditions. The system comes with UVA, UVB and UVC lamps capable of exciting molecules with a various wavelengths of ultra-violet and visible light.
