Dr. Will Lynch presents an invited talk in the NSF symposium “NSF Catalyzed Innovations in the Undergraduate Curriculum”
Dr. Lynch (chemistry) was invited by the program directors in chemistry at the National Science Foundation to present first year results on the  NSF DUE 0942047, funded project “Guiding General Chemistry Toward a Green Revolution: An Inquiry Approach” on Wednesday August 31st at the 242nd American Chemical Society National Meeting in Denver Colorado.  The talk, titled, “Introducing guided inquiry to the general chemistry laboratory sequence using green themed modules: Implementation and first year assessment” was focused on implementation issues and student and program based assessment outcomes over the initial year of the project. The talk was co-authored by Drs. Todd Hizer, Cliff Padgett, Delana Nivens, Cathy MacGowan, Lea Padgett and Ms. Yvonne Roach
