Dr. John Stone receives internal grant to support gold nanorod research.
 
Dr. John Stone, chemistry, has been awarded $865 from the Armstrong Research and Scholarship Committee to support his research activities in using nanorods to facilitate heat driven therapeutics.  The project, titled “Photothermal Lysis of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Using Gold Nanorods” t is designed to investigate photothermal therapeutics to the destruction of the virus HRSV, human respiratory syncytial virus.
