Chemistry and Physics Department Accepts New Telescopes

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Delano of Savannah have generously donated two state of the art telescopes to the program to support astronomy and physics instruction and research activities. The gift-in-kind to the department included one Meade 12" F/10 LX200 GPS SC Telescope which is an automated research grade telescope and controlled by a computer. The other is a Star Splitter 20" F/5 Telescope which was custom built for the Delano's.
