Research Interests
- Innate immunology including cytokines and their receptors, toll-like receptors (TLRs) and other pattern recognition receptors, and macrophage phagocytosis and killing.
- Bacterial and viral pathogenesis, mechanisms of immune evasion by pathogens, and macrophage responses to pathogens.
