Curriculum - Advanced Imaging Certificate
Program of Study
This certificate program is divided into two parts: the didactic classwork and the clinical education component. All of the didactic classwork is available online. The clinical education component must be completed at an accredited healthcare organization. All clinical education courses can be conducted at sites close to where the students live. Students who are outside of Savannah will be responsible for identifying potential clinical education sites in their area. All clinic sites must be identified at least three months prior to beginning clinical courses and approved prior to beginning clinical rotations.

Radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists and radiation therapists are eligible for the Advanced Certificate in CT or MRI. Please note that certification in Radiography is a prerequisite requirement for the Advanced Certificate in Mammography.
Students will select one of the three following specializations and certificate program: computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or mammography.
