Master of Arts (MAT) in Special Education
Graduates with an M.A.T. degree in Special Education receive an initial T-5 license upon completion of requirements and are certified to teach students with mild to moderate disabilities in grades K-12 in the State of Georgia.
Career Opportunities
Teachers in special education are in demand, and our graduates are employed in Chatham County as well as surrounding counties, in other parts of the state, and nationally.
Accreditation
All teacher education programs at Armstrong Atlantic are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
