Instructional Technology Certificate
Those who choose to earn a Certificate in Instructional Technology become proficient in the changing instructional technologies used in schools and in the workplace.
Career Opportunities
Those who earn certificates in Instructional Technology are in demand because information and technology are being created at such fast rates. Educational systems and private companies seek individuals capable of instructing their members in technology.
Program Features
We expect our students to become proficient in the use of technology in the classroom, and technology is woven into every education course. In addition, The Technology Center for teacher educators offers a variety of technologies available for classroom infusion.
An active Student Georgia Association of Educators (SGAE) offers excellent opportunities for involvement in a professional education organization.
Course of Study
The certificate consists of 4 required courses for a total of 12 semester hours in online learning, multimedia design, instructional technology theory and practice, and current topics in instructional technology.
