Adult Education & Human Resource Development Graduate Certificate
Instead of earning a Master's degree, students may choose to earn a certificate in Adult Education. The certificate is designed to assist individuals who are trainers and educators to better disseminate their knowledge to others.
The certificate in Adult Education allows the individual to enhance existing skills and to acquire new knowledge in the area of human resource development and literacy education. As an adult educator, you may teach large classrooms or university level, or you may teach small groups of adults in corporate settings. Sometimes, adult educators work with people on an individual basis.
Course of Study
The certificate consists of 4 courses for a total of 12 semester hours of study. With an advisor, the student designs a personal plan of study in a specific area of interest among the course options.
