About this event:
Armstrong's University Chorale and University Singers perform under the direction of Robert Harris, D.M.A.

Underpinning this concert will be music by women composers spanning almost 1,000 years, including Hildegard von Bingen, Isabella Leonarda, Rafaella Aleotti and two contemporary Americans, Williametta Spencer and Emma Lou Diemer.

This program includes a multi-media presentation of Jonathan Willcocks’ entertaining comic choral spoof Musical Risotto, as melodramatically performed by dueling soprano music majors Allison Drinkard and Adrianna Perrucci as well as Magnificat, Isabella Leonarda's sacred motet for voices, two violins and basso continuo.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Fine Arts Auditorium.
