Student Juried Art Exhibition - 2012

This is a juried student art exhibition open to all work completed by students at Armstrong Atlantic State University and will be held in the Fine Arts Gallery. Decisions by the judge will be final. Students may enter up to three works of art. All 2-D work must be matted or mounted with a firm backing or otherwise ready for display. There is no fee to enter the exhibition, and awards will be given. Work offered for sale should be marked with a sale price. Those not offered for sale should be marked NFS (Not For Sale). All requests for purchase of works will be referred to the student artist. Students are responsible for delivering and removing work at appropriate times.

Students are responsible for submitting a high resolution image of their work along with the online application. JPEG files only with the largest dimension being 700 pixels (width or height), with a resolution of 72. There are examples of a 2-D and 3-D digital image below.

Important Dates

February 28	Submit your art work online before 4:45 p.m.
March 2nd	Drop off art work in gallery before 1:00 PM After you have been notified of your acceptance into the exhibition
March 5	Exhibition opens
March 21	Reception for artists (12:00 - 1:30 P.M.) and awards ceremony (12:30 P.M.)
April 6	Exhibition Ends. Submission to the show is an obligation to leave works up through April 6. No work may be taken from the gallery before April 26.
April 9	Exhibition is taken down. Pick up art work from 9:00-4:45 pm. We are not responsible for any art left in the gallery after
