Art & Art Education Program Music & Music Education Program Theatre Program

An environment of curiosity, creativity, and passion.  Students and faculty in the Armstrong State University Department of Art, Music & Theatre (Armstrong AMT) draw inspiration from the world round to create and sustain an enthusiastic and challenging learning environment for all.

From textbooks to textiles, playscripts to the playhouse, concertos to concert halls, distinguished AMT faculty members facilitate the learning process for each and every student through dedicated instruction and performance practice execution.

AMT students enjoy the unique opportunity Armstrong provides to compose, paint, act, design, sing, direct, sculpt, and explore many other creative avenues all while enrolled as students at Armstrong, developing impressive portfolios to equip them for the challenges that face today’s young arts professionals.

Fine Art school curriculum, liberal arts foundation. The cohesive approach of Armstrong’s exhilarating undergraduate curriculum produces discerning, well-rounded college graduates who merge the liberal arts dimension of education with invaluable hands-on skills training and competitive artistic opportunities afforded AMT students both here on our beautiful arboretum campus and locally in the awe-inspiring surroundings intrinsic to historic Savannah, Georgia.
