About this event:

In “Celebration of our Independence”, the Savannah Winds, community wind symphony in residence at Armstrong, honors America, her service men and women, and veterans of the United States armed forces with its highly popular Annual Patriotic Concert.

Underscoring brilliant marches of America's iconic "March king" John Philip Sousa, the uplifting music of legendary composer Irving Berlin and the "blessing of America" to the tune of country-western songwriter Lee Greenwood, this exciting concert features US Army 3ID Major General Robert B Abrams as narrator; 3ID honor guard to present our great nation’s colors; and USAF WWII veteran George J. Bartell to be recognized as reigning Chatham County Veteran of the Year.

To close the concert, enjoy a surprise guest appearance by one of America’s celebrity personas.
