The Armstrong Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Combo share the evening with a concert titled Sabre Dance. Enjoy traditional jazz, ragtime, samba, and the perpetual motion of the concert’s title piece, Sabre Dance, Armenian composer Aram Katchaturian’s whirling, energetic and folksy war song famous for its countless appearances in many frenetic pop culture film scenes and madcap cartoons.
